The Dean of the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Kufa participated in a meeting with the delegation of the Coordinating Committee for the Allama Abdullah Al-Bahabadi Al-Yazdi Conference, which is to be held in cooperation between the University of Kufa, the Holy Shrines, and other Iraqi and Iranian universities.
Dr. Hassan Al-Fayadh suggested that the first edition of the conference be in the Iranian Republic, the University of Yazd, and the second edition in the University of Kufa. Dr. Al-Fayadh also made a number of proposals, such as the nature of the preparatory and scientific committees, along with the timing of the conference in its three editions, and the two sides agreed that the University of Kufa would assume the tasks of forming the preparatory committees for the conference. Involving other Iraqi universities in his work in addition to the holy shrines and focusing on efforts to translate the scientific heritage of Mullah Al-Bahabadi from the Persian language into the Arabic language, provided that this task is undertaken by specialized professors in the faculties of languages, jurisprudence and literature at the university.
It is noteworthy that Mulla Abdullah Al-Bahabadi Al-Yazdi was one of the eminent scholars of jurisprudence and logic. He lived in the tenth century AH and assumed the custodianship of the Holy Shrine. He has books and articles on Islamic philosophy, interpretation and theology that formed an important part of the scientific heritage of the followers of the Shiite Islamic sect.
