Referring to the direct directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Presidency of the University of Kufa, as well as the directives of the Deanship of the Faculty of Basic Education represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Hassan Hameed Al-Fayadh , stressed the need to provide programs, lectures, seminars and courses in the field of combating the scourge of drugs and its impact on society, especially the youth category, The Department of Mathematics – and within its indicative educational plan for the academic year 2022/2023 – held an educational symposium entitled (Drug addiction, its dangers, and ways to prevent it), On Monday, corresponding to 27/2/2023, at Dr. Salah Al-Fartousi Hall, at ten o’clock in the morning. It was lectured by the teacher, Dr. Buthaina Karim Atshan , In which the researcher touched on several introductions and axes. At the end of the symposium, questions and discussions were opened, as there were many interventions by the attendees (professors, students and guests), and the researcher answered all of them.
