The Department of Kindergartens at the Faculty of Basic Education at Kufa University held a workshop entitled Sustainable Development and Poverty, the workshop‘s themes, including the development of sustainable development, which defines sustainable development as improving the quality of life in a series of variables, whether quantitative or qualitative, that will lead over time to high standard of living, lifestyle change. Poverty means lack of anything and no guarantee of a sustainable livelihood. World Poverty Day, october 17th, is celebrated every year in Paris’s Trocadero Square.
